Hmmm….seems I have a new series theme going on here – people keep asking when the next series will be posted and are also asking me for specific series sets of photos.  I am not sure I have the library of images to accommodate everything, but that just gives me motivation for subject matter whenever I go out shooting again!  So, if you have a series that you’d like to see from me – suggest it in the comments or via email! For the time being, here’s another popular set from the library of yours truly:

  1. I love the third from bottom – it’s my favorite by far!

  2. As a photographer I am as drawn to rock formations as I am drawn to water. Maybe it’s because they’re mysterious or maybe it’s because they’re cool to frame composition with.

I too, live in the SW where we are surrounded by some cool stuff.

  3. Being a hiker / climber / landscape photographer, I’ve got to say, big fan of rocks here!

I happen to live in amazing set of rock formations, the Granite Dells. Each day I get to look out and marvel at the scenery. A short drive north? Yup, that gets me to the Red Rocks of Sedona. Grand Canyon? Yeah, 2 hour drive…… 🙂

Guess landing in the southwest was a good thing! After all, there are so many cool rock formations out here that I can shoot all the time and get something new with each trip.
