Delayed
Just as I start to insert myself back into reality, civilization and all that “real” stuff, the very real weather of the East Coast yesterday decided to extend my trip by another 24 hours against my will. Yes, the flight was delayed sufficiently from my starting city that I would have completely missed my connection flight back home. So, I must spend another 24 hours here with the family in upstate New York – oh the tragedy! My cold is still nagging me and after taking care of some administrative stuff for the blog and our upcoming house closings, I simply did not have the energy to complete my last project of the day (I’ve got to get back to writing in advance to make scheduling easier…). In honor of the upcoming holiday here in the U.S., today is offically a no-blog day,as we usher in the weekend. Happy Fourth of July everyone!
Extra Innings with the Sandman

Days gone by…
Okay, so it’s lame segue alert day, as our late return last night really didn’t give me time to get my act together for a post today (clearly as it’s already 6:30pm MDT). Thus, another NBP (no blog post) day is upon us. Hopefully by tomorrow my act will be together again and we’ll have a new podcast, with loads of photography goodness to share. Nyquil, Robitussen, Theraflu, Zicam, Sudafed – all for nada, zip, zilch, and a big fat doughnut. Sorry all, the fog is just too deep to come up with anything coherent. DST Blues
Yep, the ole Spring Forward/Fall back bug bit us this past weekend. On top of that, a rather late night on Saturday has re-doubled its effect on me today. Since I am an admitted night owl, the mornings did not afford me the time to put together the blog post for Monday. So…sports fans, today is officially a bleary-eyed no blog day! Tune in tomorrow for the (semi) weekly podcast, some photo goodness, and a tweak in the podcast format for even better delivery to the fabulous listeners. In the meantime… zzzzzzzzzz
Long Weekends Rule!
A long weekend is always a good thing. When you combine that with the ability to literally “get away from it all”, they are even better. I had the great fortune of being able to secure an idyllic getaway cabin in the mountains of Colorado over this last weekend.
