A bit of Tea, Chap?
August 4, 2010 No CommentsA recent visit to the parental units in upstate New York was long overdue for a number of reasons. First off, I’d not been back in nearly 4 years! Second, they had done some pretty extensive renovations and were clamoring for family to come see all the newness of their kitchen (and for the record, it was pretty fabulous), but third, and perhaps most importantly – the maternal unit is quite the avid gardener, and she prides herself on the beauty of her English-style gardens.
Needless to say, this last one was the final push I needed as the photo opportunities here would be quite enjoyable. Indeed they were, and I dare say I felt like having a bit of tea after capture time was finished! What say ye all – anyone feel like a bit of tea after this?
Perhaps it’s just me, but it was a charming visit, and the results of both her labor and mine (to the extent that it existed wandering the gardens above) were quite gratifying! How about you?
