Adobe did say that won’t be supporting power pc
macs but never mentioned Tiger. Hmm…

I am running Tiger and could not install Lightroom 3. After many tries I finally called Adobe thch support only to find out it will only run on Leopard or above. Why didn’t they say something in the download section of their site? It would have saved a lot of peoples time and frustration.

I’m running LR3 Beta in a virtual machine to avoid any conflict with my “real” work – it looks good so far, though I’m not convinced of the new import routines.

It’s a shame Adobe didn’t just put “this version of your O/S is not supported” at the begining of the install, instead of waiting until the Finish Up stage to come up with a cryptic clue. But, as you say, it’s beta, and its good that companies these days allow public beta testing.
