Take your camera with you!

I was driving home from work yesterday with my camera bag in the seat next to me when I saw this on the opposite side of the road. So, I swung around, popped out of the car, set up and used the roof of the car for stability and snapped off a few shots wide open and about 800 ISO. As a full-size image it is a bit noisy, but here it looks pretty good. To me, that’s proof positive that it always pays to have your camera with you. That’s the “Tuesday Tip” for this week. I have no idea what is causing the green lights in the clouds – I didn’t see them with the naked eye, so thought it was lens flare. When I tried changing my angle of view, they still showed up – could it be sodium vapor?
Nice shot! Definately looks like lens flare to me – they are the same number and general orientation as the three lights on the rig.
Pretty cool shot! I really love industrial shots and this one is great against that sky! I bet you can clone out the UFO (lol) spots.
Roof the of the car….hood of the car…always provide on the go stability!
i always have some form of camera with me…whether it the big gun or my point & shoot that I carry every day in my camera…I’m never without!
